Posted on behalf of a writer.
Is your daughter stressed out? Magazine will offer £150 for your story. . .
I'm a magazine writer doing a feature on how much pressure is put on
young girls today by
society to be the thinnest/prettiest/most intelligent little girl.
Does this sound like
what your daughter is going through?
The feature is for Fabulous magazine - a glossy Sunday supplement. We
want to do a
thought-provoking and intelligent piece on how children should be
allowed to be children,
not the next Paris Hilton or Britney Spears.
If you have a daughter under 10 who has admitted to feeling stressed
out or depressed
because of school or what she has read in magazines or seen on
television, please get in
touch if you'd be willing to share your story.
We'd like to interview you (the mother) and your daughter (it will
only be a brief chat
on the phone in your presence) and as she is under age, naturally we
will email you the
words before they are published so you can approve them.
We WILL require photographs of yourself and your daughter however and
real names will
need to be used so no anonymous stories please.
For further details, with no obligation to appear, please get in touch with
